Jessie McMeans is an experienced educator and school leader with a strong commitment to serving families impacted by poverty. A graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Education, she began her career in Houston teaching at a Title I elementary school and later served as Director of Children and Parenting Ministries at Agape Development. She has led community-based programs, developed family engagement curriculum for UT Health’s Children’s Learning Institute, and trained educators across Texas. Most recently she has served as an Assistant Principal in Amarillo. Jessie holds a Master’s in Educational Administration and is passionate about reimagining elementary education to better serve all students.
